Deerfield Elementary School — A Foundation for Lifelong Learning

Opened in 2008, Deerfield Elementary School serves students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade and was built to support Blair’s growing community with a modern, student-centered learning environment. Located in a residential area of Blair, Deerfield was designed to foster collaboration, creativity, and a sense of belonging.

From its beginning, Deerfield has focused on strong academic foundations in literacy and mathematics, while also emphasizing social-emotional development and character education. Classrooms are designed to support both whole-group instruction and small-group learning, allowing teachers to meet the diverse needs of students.

Deerfield students consistently demonstrate strong academic growth, supported by targeted interventions, enrichment opportunities, and dedicated staff. The school also values family partnerships, with active involvement from parents and community members who support school activities and student learning.

Today, Deerfield Elementary continues to be a place where students are known, valued, and inspired to learn.
